Pick Your Own Peonies

Not available for the 2026 season.

Earlier this spring, we announced that our Pick-Your-Own Peony experience would be delayed until June 14 due to freeze damage from several May cold snaps. Unfortunately, since then, additional weather challenges have further impacted the field.

The combination of late freezes, periods of intense heat, and most recently heavy rain and thunderstorms has significantly reduced both the quality and quantity of blooms available this season. While there are still peonies blooming throughout the field, we simply do not have enough flowers to responsibly offer a U-Pick experience this year.

As a result, we will not be opening the field for Pick-Your-Own peonies on June 14, and U-Pick will not be available at any point during the 2026 season.

This is certainly disappointing news for us, and we know many of you were looking forward to visiting and harvesting your own bouquets. Peonies are a once-a-year crop, and unfortunately Mother Nature had other plans this season.

So much more than just picking flowers, visiting our farm to pick your own peonies is an entire experience. Pick up a bucket and pruners from the shop and head out into the field for your bouquet. Bring your own pruners if you’d like and we will disinfect them before you head out to prevent the spread of disease.

Closed-toed shoes are recommended.
