Cytherea Peony
Peony Cytherea is an exquisite semi-double, pink hybrid from Dr. Saunders work. Winner of the American Peony Society Gold Medal Award and the Award of Landscape Merit.
It bloms early mid-seasonwith deep pink flowers made of strongly cupped petals that are long, forming an almost closed ball. Flowers are wider open at higher temperatures.
Medium-low height, flowers are set close to the bush.
Cytherea is a splendid specimen in the landscape, a winner on the show table.
A Saunders Lobata of Perry Hybrid. It has produced some seed so is fertile.
